Found from Maine to Newfoundland, Iceland to Ireland, and England to the northwest coast of France, the Atlantic Puffin is making a comeback from near extinction in Maine. In the early 1900's there was only one pair south of the Canadian border, nesting on Matinicus rock. These socializing Puffins were illustrated by prominent Maine artist Robert Shetterly and printed with 100% water-based ink.
